Fabien Dubois

Fabien grew up watching John Carpenter and Sam Raimi's films. Teenager, he discovers japanese films and more specifically Sogo Ishii and Shinya Tsukamoto. This furious and highly sensitive cinema is such a shock treatment that Fabien finds his way. He will be director and focuses on the thin balance between sensory and emotion. He gains independence by learning editing, compositing and color calibrating. His last short film, High/Low is a query for decibels in Tokyo. It won several awards for best image, best soundtrack and jury award. Lately, Fabien's teaser version of manga Akira by Otomo created the buzz on the web.
